I went to Capellini Salon soley based on the reviews here at Citysearch because I was desperate for someone who knows HOW TO CUT HAIR. May not seem like rocket science to many, but trust me, it takes a talented artist to know how to cut hair well. And Suzanne is just that. She took a mess of a head of hair that I had cut by another hairstylist and turned it into a masterpiece. I love my hair now, it's so easy to take care of, and that's the secret to a good haircut. You shouldn't need a lot of product and manipulation to make it look good, which is what I've been doing until Suzanne came into my life., I love Suzanne and Reese is the sweetest person on the planet. It's such a nice salon. They offer a variety of drinks and delicious treats upon arrival and terrific conversation. Suzanne really knows her craft and what looks good on YOU. She really made me look phenomenal. I couldn't be happier. I will not go to another stylist again. Thank you Reese and Suzanne.

Pros: Excellent ability to cut hair.

This place was the best salon experience I have ever had. Suzanne and Reese Are fabulous ! I called for and appointment and they were very accommodating, gave me instructions on where they were located and where to park. Upon arrival Reese offered me a beverage of choice and cookies to. Very friendly and great personality. The actual salon was beautiful, Suzanne greeted me and consulted with me on my hair and what I wanted, she then gave me her expert and HONEST opinion explained what she would do. She then showed me to a changing room where I changed into a robe so that hair wouldnt get onto my clothes. I got a great wash, great conversation, FABULOUS hair cut and style, the best I have ever had. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. I love it here.

I LOVE my hair! The cut, the color - all done with ME in mind - not a cookie-cutter style from a magazine...but a cut and color designed just for ME. No gimmicks - just genuine talent. A lovely space, easily accessed in the heart of West Hartford. This salon is for the truly discriminating client. Suzanne knows her stuff and Reese is warm and welcoming. I felt I was in the best of hands from the moment I spoke with Reese on the phone. SUPERB!!! After years of searching, I have finally found the salon for me!

Pros: Quality, attention, talent, great HAIR and the best cookies ;-)

Cons: Would love to see you guys with a website! (not really a con)

I just came back from Salon Capellini and I couldn't be happier!! Everything I have read was TRUE! I received an amazing cut and a beautiful color. The personal service I received was amazing. I have never felt so special. The cut and color I received not only made me feel better about myself, but was totally dedicated to me, just me. It was all about my lifestyle and just how much work I was willing to do on my hair. Suzanne, thank you for your artistry. Reese, thank you for being an amazing cheerleader! See you both soon.

I am so in love with Suzanne and Reese. On my second visit I gave each of them a hug goodbye. They are amazing people who really just "get" what superior service means. I'm their's forever.

Words cannot describe what an amazing and masterful artist Suzanne is! After visiting many stylists in the Hartford area, for more than 25 years, I can honestly say - Suzanne is The Best! I have very difficult, curly hair, and had nearly given up on my search for a manageable and flattering hairstyle. You will be thrilled with the results of your visit! Suzanne and her husband, Reese, have a well-deserved reputation for excellence and, beyond that, are very friendly and enjoyable to be with.

My hair is straight and fine. Every stylist I've tried in this area and NY ends up cutting my hair very short and boring. Last week I tried Capellini Salon for the first time. The experience was fantastic! Suzanne and Reese were wonderful. I left with the best hairstyle I've had in years and a great new color! This salon is worth every penny and I'm their's forever.

I came to Capellini very unhappy with the highlights I had gotten elsewhere and they did the most amazing corrective color! I get complimented everywhere i go! My highlights look the best they have ever looked and I am so happy with my cut! The best customer service and comfortable atmosphere. Worth every dollar, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Pros: Superior work, customer service, atmoshpere and products

Cons: Took about a month to get an appointment

I have never gotten so many complements on my hair before! I looked 100% better after my first cut at Cappellini. The whole experience was great. Even better, it is so easy to style and even looks good in the morning. I would never go anywhere else.

I have followed this skillful hairstylist from other locations. She's the best. After a fresh "style" women smile and wave; it must be the hairstyle!! ( I know it's not me) I highly would recommend her to anyone, especially those considering an up date to their current style; she's great with making it all come together.
