was there on saturday afternoon after a walk in the park w/my friends. what a great selection and menu for such a casual place. the portions were generous, fresh and tasty. a great place to go for a quick and inexpensive meal. the staff was friendly and the service was great!

our waitor was so nice! he is what made the experience great. quick service and really good pizza, especially for the price. small, comfortable setting.
Pros: small restaurant
Cons: small restaurant

I have ordered from here many times, and mostly with fairly good results. Nothing great, but decent for the price, and late night/early morning convenience. But the last time I ordered, it took almost 2 hours, the food arrived cold, and half of the order was missing. When I called to ask about it I was told "we're busy", and the man hung up the phone on me. Customers understand when places are busy, but let people know 'we have a lot of orders, and this will take longer than usual for delivery', then you know what you're in for as a customer, and the business doesn't have to deal with angry people. Yes you may do less in sales that day, but you'll do more in sales in the future because you won't lose clients due to late and mismanaged orders.
Pros: cheap, open late
Cons: horrible customer service

This restaurant was a great find for quick, casual eating, but amazing menu variety with home-cooked, fresh flavor. The pizza was really great, but I want to go back to try their hamburgers. They had all kinds on the menu. It's in a great location for those with kids visiting the upper West side, Museum of Natural History, Beacon Theater, etc.!

If its late, and you want a burger, but your friend wants a pizza, and your other friend wants a gyro, and your other other friend wants a sandwitch, come to Big Nicks. They can make you more or less anything with their huge menu and their small kitchen. I've been comming to Big Nicks for a while, often taking the walk over when I'm hungry but don't have a clue what I want. I always seem to find what I'm looking for on their menu. With reasonable prices, Big Nicks goes over well with anyone. My suggestion for a first timer is the Garlic Sumo Burger w/Mozzeralla Cheese. Its HUGE and its always cooked right.
Pros: Variety, Inexpensive, Open Late
Cons: Slow Service, Limited Space.

The Sumo burger is heavenly it is a Meat lovers dream. 1 pound of hamburger on a bun with any and I mean any topping you want. I believe this comes with an order of fries and a 20 oz drink for less than 10 dollars!!!!!!!!!!! WHOA!! I Highly recommond this meat lovers haven.
Pros: GREAT BURGERS, CHEAP, LOCATION
