Your classic neighborhood Irish bar. Down the street from UConn Law so expect some talk of politics. Irish beer available (of course). Avoid on St. Patrick's day, there's a line out the door and unless people leave, you aren't getting in. Decent food.

this is a great local bar for hoisting a pint after class or work. The wednesday irish beer specials ($2) are a nice treat.

The Half Door is a great Irish pub the likes of which are difficult to find in this area. There's a fine selection of beer and good food as well. I have never been to the Half Door and left disappointed.

An authentic Irish Pub. Great food and a truly proper pint of Guinness. Live bands on scheduled days. The menu is limited. Everything served is great. I love the Irish meatloaf. They even make a perfect Margarita. A must see to appreciate.
