The Absolute Best, Hands Down

This place is great. The owners treat everyone as family. The owners, Art and John, sincerely appreciate the business. All customers are greeted by name and waited on by courteous wait staff. The pizza is unbeaten, anywhere. Also, if there is an issue, the owners want to know about it and they will fix it, without a problem. My family and I have been going here for over ten years and we have never left there unsatisfied. A+++++++ Great Place.

Delicious BBQ-Chicken Pizza

I've been told a thousand times about how great Village Pizza's BBQ chicken pizza was and I must say, It most certainly was. The pizza had plenty of spicy BBQ sauce and the chicken and vegetables were fresh. Their pizza is a must have if you like BBQ foods. Also, the price was reasonable too.

Meatballs As Big As Your Head

Pizza is delicious, especially the Veggie Primavera which is loaded with garlic. Too die for, honestly, but takes about 20 minutes to cook because of all the veggies. Souvlaki is excellent (get the platter with fries and greek salad).

The pasta dishes are great and come with a salad. The meatball listed a la carte on the menu is as big as the plate. Yummy and quite the showstopper. Watch the heads turn when one comes out of the kitchen.

Sit outside in the warmer seasons and soak up the colonial charm. We have never been without receiving some sort of complementary item, whether a tiny salad or a plate of hot little rolls made from pizza dough. Yum.

Eat the pizza

This used to be the best place EVER to go! (I grew up going there) But the friendliness and appreciation for customers/quality of food just isn't the same anymore. If you go, order a pizza or a salad. (Stay away from chicken...and DON'T go when it's busy!) It's sad that things just aren't how they used to be, but that's life.

• Pros: pizza, large groups can fit when it's NOT crowded but it can get crazy
• Cons: not a lot of parking, no accessible bathrooms, some of the food...

Pizza review

The pizza was great until 2 years ago and has steadily gone down hill/ The management has been told this and the response was your taste buds have gone bad The last pie we ended up throwing out, not worth the calories to consume.. We have not been back for 9 or 10 mos.

Great Pizza

I have bought hundreds of pizzas here over the years and up till about mid 2005 I would say they had the best pizza in Connecticut. I don't why but the pizzas lately have been less then there usual quality.

i think that village pizza has the best pizza in CT. i go there every week. once usually but sometimes 2 or 3 times. the cheese pizza is great!

Village Pizza is to pizza what Cheers is to Taverns, a place where the food and drink are outstanding and the proprietors Art and John will know your name. The Village in Village pizza is expanding as the quality of the food and the warmth of the hospitality becomes known. My favorite pizza, Bob's Special, with white sauce, is as good as it it is unique with vegetables, sliced tomato and even potato! Wine and beer served. Over twenty two years, one of my favorite places to eat!

BEST PIZZA in the USA!!

Village Pizza has the best pizza pie you've ever tasted!! My family is hooked!! For the past ten years, it's the only place we'll order pizza from. The restaurant's owners take pride in what they make for anyone that walks through the door. The friendly atmosphere makes any customer feel at home. I've stopped for lunch numerous times, and whoever I am with is always quite impressed! I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone and guarantee that if you try, you'll be hooked!!
