I don't know where kelly1111 is coming from, perhaps she is a competitor, but the staff at this salon is extremely courteous and professional. I found the salon very clean with all the latest products and ammenities. I have frequented this salon for years as have many of my friends and neighbors and have had nothing but satisfying experiences there. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Clean Salon, Professional and knowledgable staff.
Cons: Very Busy at times

I've been taking my daughters to Liz at Hair by Design for a few years now. For cuts and styles, not coloring. We've never had a problem. Unfortunately, Liz has recently relocated to another state. I'm sorry Kelly experienced problems with her coloring. I do want to set the record straight on one thing in Kelly's review -- the salon is not "Gross." It's very nicely appointed, clean, and spacious.
Pros: Clean, friendly.
Cons: Our stylist has left.

I went into the salon about a year ago, only to experience the worst hair nightmare of my life. I asked the blonde-haired old woman for highlights. To make a long story short, she had no idea what she was doing, fried my hair so bad that I had to chop off all of it. On top of that, it was bright orange because she messed up the timing of the blonde. After telling people about this salon and my experience, I have heard similar stories of awful hair disasters. BEWARE!
Pros: Prevent other mishaps
Cons: bad hair, gross salon, rude staff
