So last Tuesday I was feeling pretty gloomy. My girlfriend had dumped me for my best friend, and I had no where to turn.I looked at myself in the mirror and decided to go get a haircut. So as usual, I hopped in my car and headed on down to Garrett's Barber Shop. I walked in the door to find a heavily-crowded shop; clients filling all the chairs, the waiting area bursting at the seams, and even people standing against the walls, waiting for their turn. "I'll never get in", I thought to myself. I figured that this was just the next thing to go wrong in my already terrible day. But then, as I turned to walk out the door, I heard the clippers turn off, and Garrett's caring, but remarkably masculine voice say, "What is it, friend? You look like you could use a listening ear." Garrett was right. So I began to tell my story. Well, Garrett not only listened, but commandeered the support of all the waiting patrons. The next thing I knew, we were sitting in a circle, each telling his own story of heartache, feeling finally, like our emotions were valid and acceptable. And we all concluded, once and for all, that we would never be ashamed to rely on our fellow brethren for emotional support in a time of need. And at that moment, it became obvious that the only thing left for us to do... was to sing. And so we began to compose a song of triumph. And upon it's completion, we stood together, shoulder to shoulder, a band of brothers, and sang at the top of our lungs the song which we had aptly named: "Boys are Stronger Than Girls Sometimes". Well it just so happened that one of the clients was famed record producer, Scott Storch. So he took our song back to the studio and layed down that track with lead vocals being performed by none other than Latin singing sensation Enrique Iglesias. Everyone at the shop decided that I should be credited with writing the song. My first royalty check, for over $400,000, arrived this morning. Thank you Garrett. Thank You
