The negative review I read was way out of line. Is this fine dining? No... but you get an excellent meal for the money in very short order. The service is friendly and fast. I am not the easiest person in the world to please, but I do enjoy a stop here.

Pros: tasty, cheap and fast

I've had almost everything on the menu and all of it is excelent!! The staff are al very friendly, and the food is ready in a matter of minutes. The coffee is great, topped off every time some one walks by. The best place to go if you want good food and fast.

Ordered two pancakes with sausage and a cup of coffee. The sausage was below a below average and soggy. And I'm sure they can afford something better than Cremora and water for their coffee. My husband ordered homefries along with eggs & has. The homefried are in a shade of orange and were tasteless. The hash was o.k. but it cost $3.00 an order. The price was average for two breakfasts but not worth it for what was received. Rate this place a 3 on a good day and if you're starving and there's no other place in town that's open! Oh, & be careful if it's cold out because everytime the door opens your legs freeze up.

Cons: Poor qualilty food, Tasteless Homefries, Cremora & water=milk

Glastonbury Coffeee Shop has long been a favorite of mine. My grandfather used to bring me there when I was young and I can still smell the bacon and hear the locals balking about recent political happenings. In later years, high school and whatnot, it was a favorite of both my friends and my mother and myself. But go after eleven-that's when they turn on the fry-a-later. I must have fries you see. It was always well worth getting caught from cutting class and leaving campus for some of thier scumptous eats. Simple, always good and always fast. Gotta love it!! In fact I haven't been there in 2 years as I have moved far out of driving distance. I will be visiting this Labor Day and have already requested a trip to the coffee shop to seek out my BAM and my favorite waiter-Dave. Amy L. Brown, Paducah, KY
