Hubby and I enjoyed dining here
by trmarcia
We've been to Piccolo Arancio about half a dozen times, and both spouse and myself really enjoyed our experience here. It's quite a drive from where we currently live, however it's well worth the trip.
Quaint relaxed atmosphere

This was a nice experience, the ownership really knows how to treat the customer well, yet we know this from back when the owner managed at the Cornerhouse restaurant. A nice dining experience, highly recommended, ownership has alot of experience in this area too !
An absolute treat!

If you want to be treated like family and enjoy fabulous food and drinks...this is the place to go! The food is wonderful, the wine list is fabulous and the staff, well I just can't say enough about them. They are friendly and helpful and if you want to talk wine you won't be disappointed. Good for romantic "just the two of you" outings, or for larger group gatherings. Enjoy!

Great night out

This is the best Farmington has to offer in terms of good quality, pricing, and ambience. Highly recommended
Great food and fine wines make this Italian restaurant a standout.

The Scene
One of two local restaurants owned by the Cialfi family, Piccolo Arancio is especially well known for its impressive wine list. More than 127 different wines from around the globe are sorted by country and variety, making the search for the perfect dinner companion a pleasure. There is also an impressive reserve list.
The Food
While the menu is similar to downtown Hartford's Peppercorn Grille, the chef has made subtle changes here and there to bring an authentic touch. This is rustic Italian cuisine with contemporary flair, exemplified by homemade butternut-squash ravioli served with hazelnut oil and sage. Regulars know to read the list of daily specials for the day's best bets.
