Such a great salon!. I've been going to Ashley for years and I am so happy that she has a place in Newington so close to my house. She is the best! The Salon is so nice and upscale. It is a treat everytime I go in!

Best Salon in CT. LOoooOVeee this place!! The girls are very friendly and really current on what's fasionable. I switched to this salon from another top salon and Salon Alexander is much better!! They also run a lot of specials and promos along with drawings for free makeovers. They also have tanning (even though I have never tanned). Highly recommended for any age or style!!

Always the Best!!. I have been going to Salon Alexander for almost three years now and could not imagine going anywhere else. Before being introduced to the Salon I had used their hair and make-up services through the owner's company "Beauty Entourage."

The attitude, commitment and skills I saw during the months leading up to my wedding and on my wedding day were amazing. Ashley is very professional and dedicated to making every detail perfect. I probably called or e-mailed her on a weekly basis (I booked her a year in advance and still to this day do not know how she put up with me : )) and she never seemed annoyed or made me feel like I was asking silly questions. Her answers were very straight forward and precise.

After having the most fabulous experience with "Beauty Entourage" I was very excited to try their Salon. I am originally from NH and up until I met Ashley I would drive all the way to NH to get my hair done. I am extremely picky when it comes to my hair and really do not trust many hair stylists. For years I have wanted my hair highlighted and cut a certain way and no stylist could get it right. That is until I had my first appointment at Salon Alexander. After leaving that first appointment I was so excited and impressed I could not wait for everyone to see it. I remember that weekend we had a big bbq at our house and all my friends were asking where I had my hair done and loved it. I seriously could not imagine ever going to another Salon. Everyone that works there is always so polite and friendly. Besides wonderful stylists one of my favorite features of the Salon is that while you wait with a pile of aluminum foil on your head (for those of you that do not get your hair highlighted it is all part of the process : )) you are offered something to drink (water, coffee, tea and of course wine!) or something to eat (chips, chocolate or just a little snack). As a recently new mother, going to get my hair done is like a spa treatment and girl’s night all rolled into a few hours. I look forward to my hair appointment every six weeks knowing that I have some “girl time” to myself.

If you have very high expectations and only want the best when it comes to your hair I would highly recommend Salon Alexander. You will not be disappointed and I guarantee you will continue to go back.

A Little Bit of Everything all Under One Roof!. I have been seeing my stylist prior to her joining Salon Alexander and have to say that this salon is worth my trip out of my town! Kayle, my stylist, goes above and beyond to see that her clients are well taken care of. She offers the best shampoo, including a scalp massage, and is very knowledgeable on the products that they use.

The owner is always looking for ways to save her clients money where she can. I can say that I appreciate the savings on my product purchases and her drawing for hair-do's for a year. The owner also offers many different services that I am aware of such as: hair colors, hair extensions, lash extensions, up-do's, precision cutting, waxing, tanning, and make-up applications. I'm sure that there is so much more that I have failed to list.

Salon Alexander is worth the trip from anywhere!

Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Talented!. I found this salon and their wedding hair/makeup team alter ego "Beauty Entourage" when searching for a team to come to my house and do my, and my bridal party's hair and makeup for my wedding. Since then, I go to their salon in Newington and have nothing but good things to say.

First off, at my initial consult for the wedding, Ashley and her team saved me from a hair extension disaster (to put it mildly) :), and set me up with ther Socal hair extensions, which are great. I still wear them. They ARE expensive, but ALL hair extensions that are protein tipped and last for 6 months will be!! Their prices are actually the BEST I have found in the state for hair extensions!

So I'm jumping around here, but back to my wedding. The team was polite, timely, and did a fabulous job. My mom also started visiting their salon after the wedding for regular cuts and colors, and her hair has never been so long and healthy!

The stand-out quality here in my opinion is the talent. I have worked with Ashley and now Marlem who does my extensions and color, and the girls REALLY have an eye for beauty. I would for sure recommend them, for regular hair maitenance, or for a special event!!

These ladies can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!. I first met Ashley at a photoshoot I was doing. We were in the middle of Hartford and didn't have a set area for her to work on my hair. Sooo, we ended up going into a coffee shop and she made my hair look absolutely photoshoot FABULOUS in a matter of 20 minutes IN A CAFE BATHROOM!!! It was a cold and windy day and my hair stayed beautiful the entire day.

After that experience, I knew I had finally met a hairdresser that I could ask hair questions and actually take their advice and LOVE IT! Everytime I have a question about my hair they give me honest opinions and I trust them completely and my hair looks better than ever!

FUTURE BRIDES:

Not only do I trust them to fix my hair for my day to day life BUT I booked them for my WEDDING as well. Everyone from my flower-girl to myself looked absolutely gorgeous all day long and I had an outdoor reception on the HOTTEST day of the Summer!! I would definitely recommend their air-brush make-up service because that stuff will last until the day AFTER your wedding (who washes their face on their wedding night?).

I have been going to this salon for at least 2 years now and I can honestly say that I will NEVER go anywhere else now. I have FINALLY found the salon for me in CT (and I've been to quite a few before them). The quality of their work is the best and their prices are VERY fair!! Plus, they can provide you with nearly any hair service you can think of! It's your one stop shop....ENJOY THIS PLACE NOW!!

Style for All. I first met the owner, Ashley, and her team when I hired her to do hair and makeup for my wedding two years ago. To this day, I have not (and will not) go anywhere else for my hair styling needs. I was very happy with the work Ashley's team did for my wedding party and always leave Salon Alexander satisfied with each service I receive. My husband, who would normally run to the local Supercuts for his chop, even goes to them and is much happier with his more modern look. I think they are reasonably priced for the level of service provided.

Ashley and her team are friendly and accommodating. They offer all of the modern styles, trends, and services available, so you can be assured you will look your best without being pressured to get things you do not want or need. I always leave Salon Alexander feeling relaxed and good about the way I look.

Funny, Friendly, and Fabulous!!!. This salon is absolutely worth taking a trip to. I feel I can say that with ease because I am a client who travels just over an hour to them!! I met this team of young professionals 3 years ago when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding party that they were doing. They made the bride, her mom, her mother in law, and all 9 bridesmaids (yes, there were lots of us!) all look and feel amazing on the big day!

Since that wedding, I have worked with Ashley (owner) and her staff numerous times as a model for her suberbly put together fashion shows. Ashley is not only super organized, but an extremely detail oriented person who creates her visions in the most perfect way. It is always a pleasure and honor to work with them, not only because they are super fun to be around, but because they do AMAZING work on hair and makeup.

Most recently, I took advantage of one of the salons "12 days of Christmas" deals. Ashley is always thinking of new and exciting events to draw new clients in and keep her regulars smiling...it works every time!!!

I, without hesitation, can truthfully say that if you stop in to Salon Alexander you will be fully impressed and chances are--you will be coming back again, and again, and again and again and...you get the idea!!!!!!

Salon Alexander by far the best in the state. First off I am a 28 year old man and I had never been to a Salon before. I really needed to get a quick cut for a wedding because I didn't have time to go with my regular guy.

First off when I walked in I was greeted by all young professional women. I was offered coffee, water and snacks haha being a guy this made me happy. It was a very comfortable setting and relaxed as well.

I was told I was lucky because a spot just opened up and the owner, Ashley would be cutting my hair. Now as I said before I was nervous.

Boy was I wrong Ashley not only gave me a great hair cut but she also washed my hair I know this has never been done to me before and it was amazing shampoo products she used (Remember guy don't know the names of the products)

The cut came out perfect better than my regular, so better that I continued to use her Salon from that day on. I also introduced my wife to Ashley and my wife continues to use Salon Alexander. Everytime my wife comes out she looks like a new young beautiful women. I trust her so much along with my wife we just say "Do what you do" and she does wonders.

I would recommend this Salon to anyone close to Newington, CT in fact the whole state because I still drive 30 minutes to use Ashley and the staff at Salon Alexander.
