WOW!!!. I was in Hartford on business, and looking for something interesting to eat, I was pointed to Dunn's River by a Jamaican member of the hotel staff.

It's an interior designer's nightmare, at the same time being a cross-cultural foodie's DREAM. The clientele is mostly take-out.

The waitress was attentive and friendly, to the point of bringing samples of additional entrees.

The Jerk Chicken was SPECTACULAR!! I've had a lot of grilled and barbecued food in my years and this is absolutely the best chicken I can remember.

The rice and beans were the only thing short of perfection- a bit dry.

However, considering that I got out for under $20, including some real ginger beer. I'll be back next tie I'm in Hartford.
