False Reviews of my work..
As the owner of Rising Star Chimney Services, I, Chris Soverns, want to make sure all potential customers of mine get an accurate impression of my work through the internet.
The reviews written below were not done by any customers of mine, as over the last five years, I have only had three customers out of many hundereds who were not completely satisfied with my work.
These reviews were most likely written by my competitors to slander my name and increase their odds of getting a job.

Does not return calls when bad work is done. Raised the price beyond the original quote. When you tell him something went wrong he said he would call back when you catch him on the phone. After multiple calls he never returns your call. Stay away from this guy.…
Very frustrating experince.
I rarely write ratings that put a service down since I feel bad doing so. But in this situation I want to help others by learning from my poor experiences with Chris Soverns, the owner of Rising
Star.
Chris’ prices were high and with the way he spoke about his services it gave me the impression he was going to do high quality work. The opposite was true. The materials he used were very cheap. The flue metal inserts were so thin I could bend them with my fingers.
Chris does NOT keep his promises!!!! Several follow up appointments to make fixes were made and he failed to show up for any of them. The burden always rested on me to call since he would not call me to reschedule. He does not return calls so I had to keep calling until he would finally pick up his phone. He has yet to make any of the fixes.
Please be careful using Rising Star as you may have similar poor experiences.…
not sure if they can e trusted. I called and made an appointment to have my chimney cleaned and inspected. I was told they would be at my house to clean and inspect my chimney, but they never showed or called to let me know why they were not comming to do the job.…
Full Chimney Build, ZERO Stars. I would not recommend Rising Star Chimney. Chris Soverns did a full chimney build for me and his workmanship was sloppy and the job was very rushed. Work ethic was unprofessional and he showed little understanding of the building codes and basic chimney construction. In the first 20 minutes of using my new chimney, mortar joints and the thimble cracked. Chris has not responded to phone calls to fix the problem. Rising Star does not stand by their work.…
