I loved this movie!!! Here goes my first review... "The Holiday" isn't Oscar material but if you want to spend two hours in sheer bliss, go see this movie. One of the only romantic comedies this season, its' star-studded cast had fun and we're along for the ride. I'll admit, I went to see Jude Law and wasn't disappointed. His scenes with Cameron Diaz were both comical and heartwarming...I especially liked the way he looked at her as she did her "thing". His character was surely in love. It was also good to see Jude in a role where he had family (including sister Kate Winslet) Paired with Jack Black, they were a different kind of match though no less believable - why is it the Americans are always the comic relief? Enjoy the contrasting scenes of the English cottage and countryside and high-tech Los Angeles. There are surprises on both sides of the Atlantic, especially how love can be found in the most interesting places.

Pros: Performances, Set Design, High Escape Factor

Cons: Predictable

cute movie, alittle boring at times, there was not much chemistry between Jude Law and Cameron Diaz and not enough of funny man Jack Black!
