I was in CT recently for a wedding and this is the hotel that the bride/groom recommended. It was built less than 10 years ago between two old armory buildings. The architect perfectly blended old and new and it's only because I read the history that I knew it wasn't always one building. With 100 rooms, it's big enough to handle big parties (we occupied nearly half of the rooms!) but it's small enough that you feel very cozy because it's 5 stories high. Since the inn is relatively new, the rooms are immaculate and come with all of the modern conveniences. I liked that the toiletries were from Bath and Bodyworks too. We had breakfast in the dining room (one of the old armory buildings) and it was very cozy, very much like a small B&B. The breakfast buffet was yummy with a nice variety of choices including eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, french toast, pastries, and fresh fruit. Mmmmmm... The Inn is at the end of the main drag (in this case, Main Street really is a main street) so there's plenty of things to do an see withing a short walking distance. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

Pros: Cozy. Immaculate. Great Value.

Cons: Parking Sitaution
