This is plush and trendy city elegance at its best. Twenty- and thirty-something diners cozy up in cushy leather armchairs and choose from a dizzying array of Spanish appetizers and martinis, including a house specialty garnished with a massive cooked shrimp. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and encourages a leisurely paced meal.

The Food
The menu is divided into several categories--amuse, hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, small plates, and large plates. Chickpeas with chunky, sweet mango chutney cools off the spicy, shredded pork spring rolls. Coconut peanut sauce adds zip to tender beef satay skewers. Opt for the warm, velvety goat cheese fondue with crisp flatbread crackers rather than the disappointing scallop tatin served in a soggy puff pastry. Lollipop lamb chops pair well with a mound of smooth, fragrant mushroom duxelles. Cap off the meal with flaming bananas Foster big enough for two.
