This is a great restaurant for authentic Mexican dishes. Wonderfully spicey food and refreshing margarittas served in a timely fashion. Ambiance is cozy and friendly. If you like Mexican, you'll love this place!

I've eaten at Monte Alban a few times and the food is consistently good. It is a relaxed, midscale family restaurant. Their homemade salsa is excellent, their enchiladas and burritos are quite good, and their limonada (like a lemonade, but made with limes) is a must-order each time. In addition to the standards, they have an extensive menu of meat and fish dishes. It's a cozy place, but not romantic. Take advantage of their patio seating on nice nights.
