Unprofessional and Rude. My wife and I were interested in purchasing Armstrong vinyl flooring for our small kitchen and visited the Action Carpet showroom in Simsbury. The sales rep suggested that the owner come to our home to take measurements and provide us with a free estimate.

Kevin came to our house and gave us an estimate that was higher than I expected and I called another company for a quote.

Action followed up with high-pressure phone calls for our approval to order the materials. We told them that we had not yet made up our mind and would call them when WE were ready.

Kevin called me a few days later and amazingly told me the materials had been delivered and wanted to know when he could do the installation.

I was incredulous at this and told him I had not approved any work and had scheduled another quote. At this, he lost his temper and rudely hung up on me in mid sentence.

I rarely write on-line reviews but I was stunned by the lack of courtesy and professionalism of this company and felt compelled to alert fellow consumers. STAY AWAY FROM ACTION CARPET!
