Beware!!! The people who are giving
great reviews are the owners guys...I just went there and can tell you that this is not even close to a decent place to have food. Bad quality,Bad service..I was able to see inside their kitchen and there was a guy picking up the cooked rice from the floor back into the serving dish (OMG). The meat was lying in a shabby looking tub. Kitchen was looking like a toilet.
I am so not going there again (ughh)
THE BEST OF ALL INDIAN/PAKISTANI REST..
I ALWAYS VISIT THIS RESTAURANT FOR ITS GREAT FOOD QUALITY. I BELIEVE THAT THE NAN AND SEEKH KABOBS ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THIS RESTAURANT.
WITH THE QUALITY OF FOOD IT IS VERY VERY REASONABLY PRICED (CHEAPER I WOULD SAY) AS COMPARE TO OTHER INDIAN/PAKISTANI RESTAURNTS.
I WILL ALWAYS GIVE THIS RESTAURANT AAA RATING.
My wife and I went to Rasham Restaurant for the first time last night and were very pleased by the quality and taste of the food, as well as the excellent service.
The Vegetable Samosas were amazing, as was the Tikka Boti Kebab (tandoor chicken). The Goat Biryani (basmatie rice) was tasty, but the cut of goat was a little bony for our liking. The Naan was very large; one order plenty for two people. We enjoyed the Raisin & Almond Naan.
The ambiance of the restaurant was clean and nice, but sparse. It was clearly family-friendly, as there were several other diners there with young children.
Prices were very affordable; most dishes in the $7-9 range; a few $10-12.
Rasham Restaurant is a great find; we'll definitely go back!
Indian waitresses being too friendly with guys.
I go to Rasham once a while. I never pay too much attention to girls working there, especially, if they are young, and wear kind of sexy dress to get attention from men. I only care about the quality of the food, and quality of the food there is great. Some Pakistani and Indian men start talking to girls working there hoping to have relationship with those girls. Sometimes, they get lucky. In NY city, a Bangladeshi girl, working at a Pakistani restaurant, who was illegal, agreed to move in with a Pakistani man, who claimed to be a US citizen, hoping he would marry her and she would get green card. That Pakistani man, a taxi driver, lived with four other roomates, who were all taxi drivers, and they themselves were all illegal. I heard that they all just used her for cooking, cleaning and fun time at night, and after few weeks, she herself moved out. There was an Afghan Muslim young and beautiful girl worked at a Pakistani restaurant, as a waitress. She told me she recently arrived from Afghanistan on a student visa. Later, I learned that she made dozens of male friends while working there. I heard the owner of that restaurant fired her because his restaurant was earning a bad reputation because of her being too friendly and too personal with so many guys. Even after she left, the store owner received dozens of phone calls from Pakistani and Indian men, asking him where to find her because she promised to marry them. (Ofcourse she was fooling all of them just to get big tips).
The owner of the restaurant should keep an eye on girls like her. Unfortunatley, many Muslim girls working as waitresses, fool around with guys more than Hindu or Indian girls. Some of Hindu Indian waitresses, I know, are very polite and mature and do not let guys touch them while being at work, and treat all of their customers, male and female, young or old, equally, and I have a tremndours respect for them. As a matter of fact, almost all of the young and beautiful girls already have boyfriends somewhere in their colleges or in their neighborhood but the ones with lose charactor, or desparatley seeking money, tell their male customers a lie that they have no boyfriends. And ofcourse, any waitress working there, should take shower every day and should use deodrant and mouth wash. Customers also should do the same. I must say one thing about those girls who work at restaurants and stores and start talking to every man walking in there, and give them false hope of relationship: Please do not do that, because you are not fooling anyone but yourself. Respect yourself and respect your body. Do not mix pleasure with your work, or eventually you will lose your work, and you will take reputation of being a "Whore" with you. It is part of your job to be friendly to all of your customers, but giving the pleasure of love and romance is not. Be professional, and probably, some day you will own the place you work. But you must maintain your dignity and pride, and must not throw yourself at male customers hoping for a big tips, especially those men who just want to have sex with you. Any smart girl or woman in the world, can see lust in eyes of a man, and she can sense and see if a man really loves her or just wants to use her for his sexual fantasies.

great service. i always go to rasham its a great food and great service i think now they change the waitress they work so good and fast i like there service and they are so nice too i like chana and veg samosa too much. Thanks
Good Tandoori dishes. This seems to be the recurring theme excellent tandoori dishes BUT lousy service, I read all the reviews they are all correct. So if you are looking for Succulent kabaabs and tikka by all means go there but be prepared for absolutely worse service
The food is nice, environment is mellow, silent & simple/
Will go there for their Sheekh Kababs.Best in town.
But must warn : - Service is class A lousy.
Would call , place order atleast an HOUR ahead of time and plan for pick up (as the food is good) rather than dine in.Seriously understaffed joint.
Nice Seekh kebabs!!!.
Probably the best Pakistani food in the northeast and that includes New York. Service is very basic and people in the know get stuff from the counter themselves. The samosas to start off with are nice whether veg or meat. Most meat dishes especially the barbecue fare are excellent. The kebabs remind one of any nice joint like Clifton, Zakir or Punjab tikka in Lahore. For chicken tikka they seem to have taken some influence from Indian restaurants in using that red dye which I don't care for but the taste is authentic nonetheless.
The Nihari is a little thin but well cooked and goes nicely with their hot naan. In addition they have Dahi bhaley, gulab jaman and kheer which really complete the Pakistani dining experience.
The vegetarian stuff is not that great but for that one should really go to an Indian restaurant. Overall the food is excellent, the place is clean and family freindly but the service is pretty basic.
