We used Ivy Bound fopr my older daughter for the SAT. We had a great experience and her score went up over 200 points. I have recommended this to all our friends and plan on using them for my younger daughter. The tutor we had was great and worked well with my daughter.

After getting a 1340, then a 1360 on her practice tests, and after spending almost $3,000 on private tutoring through IvyBound, my daughter scored an 1150 on her SAT. Mind you, she's a great test taker and could have gotten an 1150 in her sleep. IvyBound's response was so poor that I completely regret ever using them. Stick with a local tutor known in your school. Our tutor was completely unprofessional. I would highly recommend NOT using IvyBound.
Pros: one on one tutoring
Cons: Way too expensive, Bad result? Too bad., Promises not kept.
