It was a long wait in a busy waiting room but my eye exam was thorough. The doctor's are good and I got a prescription for contacts that corrected all the problems my old doctor couldnt figure out.

No place like home. I have had trouble with my eyes left and right from Glaucoma, Cataract, Cataract Surgeries, Retina detachments, Chalazions,etc. You name and I've had it. After all the specialist I've seen, I still come back to Dr. Solinsky for reassurance. I have the most confidence in him with my eyes and he has never starred me in the wrong direction.

Best Eye Care in CT!. If you really want first rate service and great eye exams you should give this office a try. They really have their act together. The staff is nice and well trained and the doctors are really good at listening and helping .

They have everything right there for you too, contacts, glasses and Dr. Solinsky did great eye surgery for me with the newest lens implants. I don't have to wear glasses now for the first time in my life! One night my friend had pain in his eye and they opened the office for us on a Saturday night and helped him out right away. They are right in West Hartford Center too, so i can do some shopping when i'm done. I'm telling all my friends about them. You should give them a try.

Too busy for patients, underinformed staff. I went to Solinkys Eye Clinic for an eye check up - and have been having problems with my eyes and bills ever since.

At the first go, the gave me the wrong prescription. They also billed me to the wrong insurer. I had to make several phone calls and personal visits to get my insurer information correct - there are just too many different people answering the phone, who do not look back through the records, so I had to explain the issue multiple times. And none of them knew what was covered by my insurance company. I had to conference my insurance agent with them to convince them. In the mean time, my eye problems continued, and I went for a follow up checkup. A different doctor looked at my eyes this time and found that they had made a mistake and had given me the wrong prescription. They corrected the prescription, but would not refund me for the wrong contact lenses I had to buy because of the wrong prescription. To top it all, they once again billed the wrong insurer for my follow up appointment... i am yet to resolve that.. I think I may have to spend a lot more time calling them.. I am writing this review so people are forewarned - Solinsky's eye clinic staff do not understand insurance policies, and they are too busy for their patients. Be prepared to spend a lot of time to deal with issues.
