Hawk's Landing Country Club

Extreme Poor Quality Business and Event. I was so looking forward to having a celebration event at Hawk's Landing. The Bella Room is beautiful and has many features such as lighting and patio. After I signed a contract for the date of my event, discussed the ideas that I had, and sent out invitations, I received an email from the Events Manager (Dave) telling me that the room was double booked. I was asked to move my event to a different day. I was interested in working with accommodations to be made for me since he was breaking the contract, but the only accommodation was to change the date, which was not an accommodation. It was a breach of contract, which I could have taken to small claims court.

Before knowing about the double booking but after the contract signing, we attended the New Year's function "Sweet Dreams and Denim Jeans". The food was overcooked. For example, the beef tenderloin was so overdone it was like eating rubber. I would have been so embarrassed to serve it. The music could not be heard because the solid wood ceiling kept the loud voices vibrating off the ears. The bar is in a terrible location which blocks the walkway. The alcoholic beverages were like drinking pure sugar because there was hardly any alcohol in them.

This is not the place to have the event of your dreams. They need to practice their business and catering skills.…
