I love it!!. I love this little restaurant. It's not a "sit down" restaurant,but you get great food at excelent prices. I love the authentic food. I am jamaican and I love the food. Theres no fuss about it!!!

This take-out kitchen's authentic, inexpensive Jamaican cuisine will leave your tongue seared and your taste buds happy..
The Scene
In a city that boasts the largest West Indian population outside of New York, it's natural that there should be at least one place to find good Jamaican food. Thanks to the Scotts, the best of Jamaican cuisine can be found right here in Hartford. For over 20 years, the Scott family has cooked the kind of Caribbean food usually found on the grills of Negril or Montego Bay.
The Food
Most customers stick with the basic beef patty and coco bread, but if you're a true island connoisseur try the curry goat with rice and peas or the ox tail. Be prepared: There's nothing American about the jerk chicken wings and there is no such thing as mild. Don't forget to grab a bottle of Irish Moss from the refrigerator to wash it down.

a landmark in HArtford. I first visited SCott's in the early eighties. they consistently provide excellent food atmosphere and smiles you will not be dispppointed
