Had the burger and the steak salad. Both were very good and generous portions. Cocktails at night are a treat too. Service was outstanding.

Service: Our server was awesome. He also reminded me of Veronica Mars' dad, which made it more awesome. I dunno.

Banana Bread Pudding: This was the star of the meal, my favorite dish all night. It was just soooooooooooooo good I cannot do it justice describing it. It was moist, soft, and had the perfect mix of banana, ice cream, and cinnamon. It even came garnished with little pieces of bruleed bananas. It was cute!

Grilled Hanger Steak: This was really good and cooked perfectly. It was served with some sliced rice cake rolls, which had a nice panfried crispiness. I liked the asian fusion sauce they had going on this dish.

There are a lot of professionally trained singers who come here from the various music schools in the area, and you will be greatly entertained hearing them sing. Their selection of music is quite good too, but I do believe they need to add some newer tunes from 2007 onwards. Most of the songs range from 2006 back to the 1950s.

The crowd has definately improved over the past few years. It used to be full of middle-aged people, but in the past year, college-aged people have been flooding the bar. It is more crowded now than I can ever remember. It makes for a more lively atmosphere, but the one downside is that it takes longer to wait to sing. But it is a welcome change, IMO.

The food is very good! I have been here a few times and can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. We went tonight and had a wonderful meal! The soup - I have hot and sour and my friend had egg drop - was terrific. Perfect portions. We had two wonderful dishes that we shared along with some great veggies on the side. It was really a very good meal!

Last time I went we ordered off the alternative Szechuan/Cantonese menu - half a duck and Szechuan style Gung Pao chicken. Both were very tasty.
