Rude. Called to see what the hours were. Whom ever answered the phone was short and annoyed and hung up abruptly after i said than you.

I went to Effies instead.

TASTY OMELETTES AND WAFFLES!!. Quaker Diner is literally some of the best breakfast food available in West Hartford. I almost died.

We had a three cheese omelette with toast and potatoes, and it was incredibly delicious.

The Belgian Waffles (available on the weekends) are also a great choice, with blueberry or raspberry topping. GET WHIPPED CREAM, even if you're on a diet. Forget about it for 5 minutes and be in waffle heaven!!

Omlets:). The best omelets in the area. Special omlets available too.

Cool atmosphere, love the decor and the oldschool diner feel of this 90 year old family run place.

Hey Harry! How are ya?. Best place for breakfast in the world. I was born in the 60's but feel like I'm in 1932 when I'm there. Friendly people go there, always a conversation between strangers, they part friends. Now for the food! Jumbo french toast with an egg poached in the middle. Yum. Milkshakes w/real ice cream at breakfast! Ask for something not on the menu and you get it. Get there early to avoid waiting for a booth. Great coffee, clean and tons of fun!
