Worst service ever!. We made reservations at Casa Mia to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. When we arrived, we waited quite some time for someone to seat us. It happened to be the owner that came over, and when we told him our reservations he said "let me see" and walked away. We were left standing there again for quite a while until a waiter asked if we needed to be seated. He said he needed to talk to the owner and left. The waiter came back and said that they had too many large parties, but that they could make room for us at the bar. We refused to sit at the bar on our first anniversary and left. Between them not keeping our reservation, the rude owner and the way we were treated on such a special occasion, we will never go back. We went to Carbone's instead and the service there was top notch!

Decent, but would not recommed to friends. We visted the restaurant after reading several rave reviews online about the food and customer service. Unfortunately, the problem started when I used their online reservation system to book our party, but never received a confirmation email. When I called the restaurant, they did not apologize for the confusion but instead hung up on me (probably an accident). After calling back, the reservations were set. We arrived on time and were seated, but no one came to take our drink order for at least fifteen minutes-- even though there were three servers around chatting with each other and other customers (despite closed menus). The appetizers were EXCELLENT and the wine list was very satisfactory, however the main course was entirely too much food and my lasagna arrived only medium-warm.

All in all, I would expect better service and dinner served HOT for the price of the entrees. Several members of my party really enjoyed the entrees, including the seafood pasta special. Pros included the appetizers, friendliness of the staff (once we were served) and the fact that it is located in the southern part of Hartford where parking is plentiful.

Excellent food and service. The meals were a bit pricy, a few below $20 and most $20 to $30, but my sisters, wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. The waiter and waitress were friendly and attentive. The caesar salad was exceptional, as was the Lasagna and Veal Marsala.

Outstanding. A true classic Italian Resturant. Everything was wonderfully prepared and served. Even a set menu for us old timers. A great place to bring your significant other or for a family celebration.
