Mortensen's Ice Cream. This place is GREAT!! Family owned and operated, with great food and good sevice. The food is delicious and there is something for everyone. The main appeal of Mort's is its home-made, all natural, ice cream. The ice cream is made right one the premises, fresh-daily, using native fruits, when in season and the finest indgrediants. If you are looking for GREAT ice cream, rich and creamy, with a large selection to choose from- Mort's is the place for you!! Two Thumbs Up!! : )

Ice Cream- There's nothing like home. I knew the the girl who's father started/owns Mortensen's. This place does have some of the best (and unique) ice cream flavors and it's "home-made." Their milkshakes are also amazing. Awe, I'm starting to miss home now...

Hi, I'm an ice cream addict.. I'm an ice cream addict. I'll admit it. I will go far and wide to try different types of ice cream (see my reviews of other spots). Mortensen's is the best tasting ice cream in Connecticut, in my expert opinion. :-) They have a plethora of flavors...all are to die for! They even have non fat, no sugar added ice cream that tastes wonderful (tough to find any of those that has any taste/substance to it). They have some outstanding pies, also. Since I've been going there I've got to know the owner, Ron Mortensen. What a terrific, outstanding business owner. Very nice man. He really runs a tight ship as the customer service is wonderful.

Ice Cream Heaven. I love ice cream and Mortensen's makes the best. The only ice cream I like better is the gelato I eat when I visit Italy. I have moved out of Connecticut and I have not found any ice cream as good as Mortensen's where I live in Georgia. I miss the fresh made ice cream and sundaes loaded with whipped cream. I miss the seasonal unique flavors like peaches and cream, fresh blueberry and pumpkin.
