This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Been here a few times and love it. The food is of exceptional freshness and quality and the service is nearly faultless. The staff is extremely knowledgable and very approachable. The waiters we've had have been very helpful with suggestions and accomadating to my picky requests. I love that you can add things to your entree (like crab legs or lobster tails). Managers are present in the dining room every time we've been, which is rare even in restaurants of the same quality. This place is truly worthy of 5 stars. Some of my favorite dishes are the calamari, the bone-in ribeye, creamed spinach, and the apple tart. But everything I've ever tried has been wonderful with the exception of the crawfish appetizer (not my thing). I highly recommend Ruth's Chris.

This place has been as good as it gets in the Hartford area forever, Still busy , packed every night, and still the best in Steak & Service!! Everytime we go we see the same Servers and Managers which must mean that something good is going on here!! Bravo!!
