We frequent this place quite often, sushi has always been fresh and good tasting, no "store sushi"can compare.The staff is responsive, very polite, and provides with prompt service, I do not know anything about their wine, but they do carry Japanese brand beer that is quite delicious (Kirin Ichiban). It is a small neighborhood place, great to stay in or for take out. Expect to spend $45 plus tip for 2 people and two beers. Bon appetit....

Literally, the tiniest martini I've ever seen. I ordered more gin to dilute the vermouth. My companion's wine was stale; we sent it back and then suffered the wrath of the manager, a woman who insisted that "everything here is [the] best quality." We decided not to argue and ordered a beer (and then another; it was icy cold). The wine languished on the table for the rest of the meal. Now a couple of good things: the server seemed genuinely intent on pleasing us. The salad dressing was the best I've ever tasted in a Japanese restaurant, but I was scared to ask the manager from Hell if I could buy some. Teriyaki shrimp was over cooked and cloyingly sweet. Sushi was made from fish that had been frozen. It was like eating supermarket sushi. Price was fair, but we'll not return if only for one thing; the manager handed us the bill for the wine, still on the table after the rest had been cleared and orange segments provided. She assured us in no uncertain terms that we were going to pay for the wine. And that we did.
Pros: A serviceable Japanese restaurant.
Cons: Evil manager from Hell.
