When I have a day off. When I have a day off I go to Sally and Bob's Deli-ette. They are very nice. I used to work across the street from them. I used to go over there for lunch. Now I still go there. I think Ronnie is a very good cook. He is always smilling and very happy. Rhonda is also very nice and lind. When I go there I get roast beef in a wrap with mushrooms and horseradish. I get a coke. They have the best soup also. I get a bowl of soup. They make there soup from scrach. Sometimes when you go somewhere else and they give you soup. It is not as good as Sally and Bob's. When I have a day off. I call the day before and see if they are open or not. They tell me to come over.

A Restaurant Seinfeld Would Love..... Sally & Bob's Deli-ette? Think comfortable, think friendly, think neighborhood. Think "my place". Not fancy shmancy. No pretense here. Just good old fashioned, familiar food made by the owners themselves. Sit with friends, bring the paper, feel at home! This is the kind of place Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer would choose to hang out in for good food and a relaxing "shmooze" if they lived in West Hartford! Ron makes the food just the way you like it - hot and fresh, while Rhonda makes sure you're happy as a clam and you don't leave until you're full! Their recipe for success seems simple enough - home cooking with a considerable dash of love while treating everyone who walks in the door like extended family. This is one recipe that really works! Come for breakfast. Come for lunch. But just come! You'll be glad you did!

Fantastic family-owned restaurant. Sally & Bob's is the place for great breakfast and lunch in the Hartford area. I never visit without stopping by for challah french toast, corned beef hash and home fries. The bagels on the grill are amazing as well. Lunch is also a treat at Sally & Bob's with delicious overstuffed sandwiches and great new menu options such as burgers, grilled salmon and more. With the new renovation Sally & Bob's has a beautiful decor to match the amazing food. Ronnie & Rhonda run the best restaurant in all of Connecticut.

Congratulations! You found the needle in the haystack!. Sally & Bob's Deli-ette is a West Hartford second generation family owned favorite that knows all about tradition! It's a combination of hometown warmth, hometown cooking and good value. The menu includes all your favorites and then some! I like to call it the comfort food king of West Hartford. Do yourself a favor and order the overstuffed corned beef with coleslaw on fresh rye. Mmmmmmmm....

And if the above wasn't enough, they just completed a top to bottom renovation! (2007). While the walls, flooring, furnishings and even plates and silverware are new, they of course retained all the secret family recipe's for great food and a warm and inviting atmosphere that will bring you back again and again. Enjoy!

Great little treasure!. I love Sally and Bob's! It's such a friendly place to go for breakfast. It's not too often you find a place where they know your name when you walk in and know what you want to order. The food is served hot and fast. And the value is great. Watching Ronnie cook at the grill with a smile on his face is priceless.
