Not Bad. I see a lot of bad reviews. I thought the food was good. My fishmajig was hot and the fries were hot. My drink was ok and the restaurant wasn't dirty. Maybe the management has changed.

Hard to reach them by phone tho.

1960's feel... literally. I thought I was back in 1960's Jim Crow South... Absolutely amazing when people don't even realize they're being prejudiced. I took my child to get ice cream and was told they were out of the common flavors, or basically any flavor I asked for. Then we sat in my car and watched people go in after us and get ice cream. Great learning experience and motivational opportunity for my daughter.

Friendly's opened its first location in 1935, and thanks to red vinyl booths and an old-time vibe, many of its 500-plus locations still feel rooted in that era. While nobody's ever mistook Friendly's signature ice cream for Ben & Jerry's, the restaurant does deserve acclaim for its Fribbles (extra-thick frappes) and inexpensive sundaes. Straightforward breakfast platters are served in the mornings only, while standard diner fare (tuna melts, beef burgers) is offered day and night.
