Red Lobster has nothing to worry about. This is my husbands favorite place, he wanted to take me when I came into town to help look for housing for us. I was surprised because my husband travels extensively and normally it takes a lot to wow him. Who knew? I felt like I was at Big Boy. The fish was overcooked, tasted like it had been frozen. I didn't care for the seasoning on the baked dish I had, Really no imagination in the kitchen.

II must say that the service was very good, the waitress was always there to ask if we needed anything, checked on our meal. The portions were humungous. Just not very good. Seemed to be a lot older clientele.

Mediocre at best.. Mediocre food. Mediocre service. Over priced.

Not worth the trip or the money. First and last time.

Not crowded when we ent there, so I expected better service. Seems like the staff either hated their jobs or did not take our dining experience seriously.

Disappointing Evening. Being employed in the customer service industry, I feel that it is just as important to rave about great service as horrible service. Unfortunately, this review is about the latter. We were a large party at Maine Fish Market last night and spent over 2 HOURS before being served dinner. Granted it was very busy, so the wait was double the time they initially said. We were seated and had no live person come to us for 20 minutes. We then proceeded to wait 50 minutes for our dinners and then spoke up. We were told another 5 minutes. It was in-fact about 15 more minutes. We were then approached by the Owner who was extremely rude and boarderline bully-ish. He asked a member of our party to "step outside" to discuss this. Seemed like a scene out of a Soprano's episode! Coincidentally, we were not the only party that was dissatified as another party across from us was given a discount off their bill as well. The fish was soggy and the service was absolutely horrible, besides the fact that the owner of this establishment does NOT believe in good customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Best Seafood on the entire planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I've recently moved back to New England from TX. I can tell you that Maine Fish Market has the best seafood I've ever had. It's been 12 years from the last time I visited, however the food has not changed a bit and it's still the best seafood on the entire planet. I highly recommend the fried platter, so much food and the best part of all is the leftovers taste just as good. I'll come back time and time again.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Seafood lovers flock to the restaurant that offers fresh fish, tender lobster and shrimp at reasonable prices.

One of the best in Connecticut. This restaurant, not so easily found from the freeway, is a gem. The food is good: you can have variations on lobsters. Even crab cakes are good. Warm atmosphere good for family or friend gatherings. Service good and warm-- I witnessed a customer accidentally dropped a dish on the floor, and immediately waiters came to clean with smiles on. One feels relaxed there. The only thing I want to complain about it is it is kind of distant from the city (Harford). Location wise, it is not so convenient.

Slow & Uninterested. We made reservations for large group of 20. Upon arrival, had us wait 45 minutes because of lack of tables (what are reservations for?). During wait, did not take orders for drinks, did not ask if we needed anything, ignored group of 20 completely. Food was nothing special either. I would NOT recommend this place for a large group.

Great seafood close to Bradley International. Seafood was very fresh and well prepared; plentiful too. A nice salad preceded the meal. The bread was very good, but not extraordinary. Service was very friendly and effecient. Ambiance was o.k., but not the place to go for a romantic night out.

Absolutely Delicious. I have had large parties here and recieved EXCELLENT service ~ wait staff is courteous and fun ~ Food has always been SUPERB. Sometimes a bit of a wait to get the meal but always well worth it. I highly recommend! For those wanting to entertain out of town guests, this is the place!
