LOVE SCRUPLES HAIR SALON AND DAY SPA!!!. Went to Scruples this weekend, and it was wonderful as usual! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and immediately taken up to the second floor to the Spa. As I was guided to the Spa, the Salon staff even turned and greeted me with a smile. I was really impressed, again. I had a wonderful Facial from Brianna, who knew her products, all about my skin, and answered many of my questions. I also had a Massage with Cheryl, who also consulted with me prior to my massage. I would definitely come back, and yes, I already told my best friend, and she is coming with me next time. Kudos to Scruples.

Very Pampered and Special. I travel quite a bit for my occupation, and I was recommended to Scruples while staying at a Hotel near Hartford. I had an afternoon off, so I decided to see if they could squeeze me in, and I am so glad that they did. I was delighted to see that I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in, then I was shown upstairs to the Spa. I liked the atmosphere, it was quaint, not pretentious, and the waiting area was beautiful....I felt as if I were in a traditional living room, sort of looked like mine! I had a deep tissue massage, and then proceeded to my facial, pedicure and manicure. I received a lot of attention, and felt a soothing relaxation come over me, from the onset of the massage! I have been to several Spas during my travels, and I have to say that I felt very welcome, pampered, and relaxed at Scruples. The staff played such a big part in that ; not only in their professionalism, but, in their warmth and concern over me as their customer. I think Scruples is a fine Day Spa and Hair Salon, and when I am in the area again, I will be certain to return.

Thank you for such a fine afternoon.

GREAT PLACE!. I recently went to Scruples and had a wonderful relaxing experience. I had a facial with Michele, a body treatment with Karen and a spa manicure and pedicure...(I forgot the girl's name!) By the time I got home, I was so calm, that I even took a nap! I found Scruples to be quaint, yet professional, and the staff was very caring. Customer service was excellent, the services themselves were phenomenal, and I am thinking of having a gathering there with a few friends shortly. Keep up the great job Scruples, you are one inviting and warm place that I am so delighted to have found.

Not Pampered- Never Again!. When I was sent upstairs to the spa, I stood around unacknowledged for almost 5 minutes- there were no seats because a group was wrapping up their day. Then the body treatment was applied to arms, legs, back- not to torso (unlike any other body treatment I've ever had). Next, left alone for 20-30 minutes - no facial massage as described. When escorted to the shower, I was told I could apply some lotion (on the sink ledge) and then dress when finished. Treatment description included application of lotion. Technician was already doing someone else's pedi when I came out. Very little hands on or "spa" feeling.

Shoddy equipment, untrained specialists. I was excited to find this quaint place close to home that provides a facial for rosacea. When I first got on the table, it tipped over. Here I am hanging on to a cart for dear life trying to stop from falling onto the floor. I am yelling to the girl to come, to no avail. Finally I am able to push myself upright, but not until I knocked everything off the cart as well. Lotions, you name it.

Next, I have the facial. I ask for extraction (to remove any blackheads if any) She obviously was not trained in this, my face was raw when I left. Very high sales tactics. Products were waiting for me at the checkout desk that I just had to have and they didn't take no for an answer. 15 minutes later I walk out with just under $100 worth of product which btw, did not at all work for me but just make me break out. I am back to driving my one hour ten minutes one way to another spa, and worth every minute.
