Absolutely the best in this business -- Anywhere. I'm shocked and outraged by the negative reviews of Vincent Funeral Home. I can only conclude those people either are market competitors or simply delusional. The Vincent Family has been serving Simsbury and the Farmington Valley for over 100 years. They have provided services for my grandparents, father, and most recently, my sister. They are empathetic, responsive, and thoroughly professional. They will do whatever you need to have the service you want for your loved ones. For my sister, who died suddenly, they successfully enabled us to

have a Catholic/Buddhist service. Any idea how hard that is--particularly over the New Year's holiday? The service went off flawlessly. And that was because of the tireless work of the Vincents and their staff. I trust them so much, that when I die, I am planning to have them handle my

services--and I live in New York City. In short, if you live anywhere near Simsbury, these are the people to trust at the most difficult times of your life. Avoid, avoid, avoid.. Clueless, inconsiderate, lack of attention to details, they outsource everything, can't even find the drivers (cell phones turned off!) when needed! What a shame a company like this would trade on a formerly respected local name and take advantage of people during the worst times of their lives, arranging for and burying a loved one. Death certificates, "in the mail" must be their catch phrase. Violate federal requirements to provide paperwork. Humble is a word no one EVER taught these miscreants the meaning of.
