The Owner is as Beautiful as Her Flowers. Beloved friends had to put their dog down. I wanted to send flowers. Originally I googled a florist in their town and could not have been met with a colder response.

Then I googled Robinson Originals and had the good fortune to have Laurie pick up the phone. Her response to the reason for my request was sincere and sympathetic.

Laurie efficiently made sure each detail of my request was attended to i.e. the proper spelling of my friend's name). As my friend had to leave for work, I suggested the flowers could be left outside ( I called from sunny California). Laurie told me the day in Connecticut was too cold for that, and assured me that she would have my order delivered in a timely fashion.

My friend told me that when the flowers were delivered, the person who delivered them greeted her with an expression of sympathy.

I realize that I have not yet said how beautiful the arrangement Laurie made is. My friend e-mailed me a photo. The quality of the flowers might be sufficient reason to write a glowing review. However my real reason is something a wise teacher once said, which is that we will probably all make mistakes in technique, but should strive never to make them in humanity. Laurie's humanity exceeds even her beautiful flowers.

Very glad I went with Robinson Florist. I was looking for flowers to be delivered to Simsbury and was about to order online from a big company that I've used several times that has been satisfactory, when it occurred to me that there must be local florists that I should be supporting.

An internet search turned up Robinson and after reading the other reviews posted here I chose to go with them and am very glad I did. I called around 10AM and was told the flowers could be delivered that day but probably not until late afternoon (which was fine). But around noon I received a call from the recipient to thank me for the flowers!

He raved about how gorgeous the bouquet was and what a wonderful and innovative arrangement it was (I just gave them a price and left it up to them to decide what kind of flowers to use). Delivery person was also super nice.

Usually I just got perfunctory thank yous when I sent flowers from that large company I used so it's nice to find a local company that generates this kind of excitement and appreciation. Definitely will use them again!

No florist in the Farmington Valley can compare. Rest assured that when you order an arrangement from Laurie, you get the best quality flowers. She gives you a lot of flowers for your money. She's doesn't use a lot of "filler". Her arrangements are very colorful and extremely creative. Laurie's word on quality and delivery is exceptional. Laurie is a delight to deal withl. She truly understands customer service. Because we use Robinson's OrIginals for all our floral needs, Laurie has become a good friend to the family. She is truly the best!

The Best flowers on a planetary level. Laurie's prices are great but her flowers are even better. I do not know if she has a special, exclusive source for her flowers but they just last. I have had arrangements from her last 2 weeks longer than flowers from any other florist. With her I know I am getting fresh flowers, delivered on time and arranged beautifully. It just doesn't get better than that. I would recommend her to any one in the area and also to those like myself who call in orders from a distance. I am proud to give her flowers as gifts. I know they will be perfect.

Old fashioned quality and customer service!. Customer service has become a a by product of the past for most companies and service related industries. Robinson's, however is the acception to this unfortunate reality. Laurie did a fantastic job from start to finish. She was curtious, timely, flexible to my needs and ultimately provided a flower arrangement that sparked compliments noteworthy of praise. Living in Atlanta, but growing up in Simsbury it can be hard to find the right florist for special occasions. I will use Robisnons in the future and gladly recommend them to all others who seek quality and genuine "old fashioned" customer service! Well done.

Creative, beautiful arrangement at a very reasonable price. We have used Robinson's Originals for our daughter's wedding, and now my mother's funeral. In both instances Laurie did an excellent job and her prices beat the other florists by quite a bit. The size, quality, and diversity of her arrangements, for the price, cannot be equaled. The personal and caring service is excellent. We have been using Laurie for more than 12 years. The only other florist we like is Hinmans in Canton.
