The Best Ski Shop for Childrens Rentals and Ski Tuning. I was in their shop every year since they opened to get my skis tuned. The shop is alwasy busy with peopl getting theri boots fitted and getting their entire family outfitted with seasonal rentals. They arre the only shop in Ct and Mass with the new Race Tuning Machine from Wintersteiger. That machine was developed by Wintersteiger with help of the Austrian National Ski Team. Not only do they prepare race skis, they also bring my entire family's skis up to the condition like they were new again.…
Great Little Local Store.
I have been shopping at Ski Tunes for a couple of years and find the store to be excellent. I have bought stuff for my kids, rented equipment annually for my kids and have had my own stuff worked on
there. They are professional and friendly. Everything comes out great.
I have had my skis tuned up there and they have come back perfect!!…
Don't Let Them Touch Your Gear. After lovingly caring for my skis for several seasons (P-tex as needed, waxing before each day on the slopes and hand tuning edges), I brought my skis to Ski Tunes in Simbsury for a Stone Grind to restore the factory edge. Obviously, they did not know what they were doing. The ground through the P-Tex and dropped the edge so low that the P-Tex could not be restored. At first June offered new skis at cost. But Dave renegged on that offer. I was forced to buy a new pair of skis. Not only did they ruin a great pair of skis. They even refused to credit even the cost of the ski tune by which the wrecked my beloved boards. DO NOT TRUST BOARDS YOU CARE ABOUT TO SKI TUNES OF SIMBSBURY.…
