Friendly service in a busy cafe that serves fantastic breakfasts. The pancakes were awesome.

My wife and I really enjoyed the personal attention one of the waitstaff, Scott tried to give the tables. You got the feeling like you were part of a big family. At one point, it was someone at another tables birthday and he came out with a funny hat on and candles in the french toast! He got everyone in the cafe to sing along - it was fantastic.

They all work like a big team trying to crank out all that food. While one person is getting your drinks, another comes along to take the order. Scott does a good job keeping the staff moving.

My wife had Eggs Benedict and she said she just loved it. The wait to sit down was a little long, but well worth it when my pancakes come out.

All and all, a little rough fighting your way in the door, but countless tasty rewards await you.

One part bakery, one part cafe, one part caterer--this is the stop for sweet and savory cravings in Simsbury.. The Scene
The two pastry cases that line the wall of this small one-room shop are stuffed with the traditional cookies, bars, homemade granola and fudge that patrons swear by. A bright, cozy cafe invites diners to linger and enjoy excellent service and a friendly attitude.

The Food
Harvest Cafe & Bakery has such an array of bar cookies that even the most decisive dessert lover will have trouble choosing. Chocolate connoisseurs, rejoice: S'mores bars are heavenly--dense and dappled with half-melted mini-marshmallows submerged in rich chocolate ganache. Coconut and gooey caramel run fault lines through the moist, fudgy Earthquake Cake--it's like a Mounds bar on steroids. For fruit lovers, the lemon shortbread crumb bars may lack pucker power, but the blueberry bar's sticky fruit filling, layered with sweet cream cheese will leave diners licking their fingers and wondering if they can eat just one more.
