BEST NORTHEAST OF NYC. This place serves great deli fare, period. The service is alright. Sometimes during peak times you have to wait for a seat. But the pastrami is to die for. The pickles are free! This place is strategically located between Boston and NYC. Great place to stop prior to finishing your trip in either direction. I live in Pennsylvania now but always stop in here when returning to Boston roots.

Great stopping point between New York and Boston. Driving to Boston from New York? Stop for some great New York style deli sandwiches. They brine their own corned beef a pastrami. Excellent home style food and a wait staff with a little bit of a New York edge. A bustling place with some great sweets to take along for the last miles of your journey.

The best deli east of the river!. I now live in Northern California and the only place I want to eat at when I'm back in CT visiting is Rein's.

The Best Sandwich Deli Shop in CT!. Rein's Deli is the best sandwich deli shop in Connecticut. However, you don't need me telling you that when looking at the positive reviews from sandwich lovers and critics alike. After entering Rein's, you will notice a beautiful display of fresh fish, bread, and meats ready for the taking. A cornucopia of displays full of the old times and the present history of Rein's accompany the "deli" atmosphere. Their colossal sandwiches are hard to miss when you are walking by other patrons that have been served their order. Roast beef, liverwurst, turkey, chicken, soups, potatoes, fries, and any other type of toppings are part of the ultimate sandwich. Their high popularity is a cause of celebration and perhaps the occasional waiting period. Don't fret though, because once that the sandwich, chowder, and ice creams have been served, you will forget about all your troubles. ENJOY!

HOLLA!!!. This is the best resuaturant in the Connecticut area. I have friends from around the country that travel just to eat there, especially their fresh dill pickles!!!
