My favorite Mexican Joint.
I was looking for an online menu so I could grab some take-out this evening and came across this site. After seeing some negative reviews I felt compelled to share my experiences with Pancho Loco.
My first time there was about 2 months ago. Our server was friendly, fun, and fast. I loved the food. We had the flautas, the wife had a Chimi, I loved the Chicken Mole' Enchiladas (my first mole' experience, wow!), and some fried Ice Cream to finish. I fell in love with this place. We've been back 5 times since and had the best Fajitas ever, as well as the best wings I've had in years. We've had 3 different waitresses, all were fun and did an exceptional job.
Every time I've been I've felt well taken care of, had fun, and was pleased with the food. That's all it takes to keep me coming back!
Disappointing Pancho Loco. our most recent visit to pancho loco was (im sorry to say) another disappointment. we really want to like this place...seems to have sooo much potnetial. we try again every few weeks and you would think after 10 years they would of worked out some kinks. my girl and i both have worked in restaurants for years so we're more than patient with issues that may and do sometimes arrive. usually its not the servers fault and believe us, we understand, we have love!!! but this place is different. we were there this past thursday night and not only was the server we had unsocialable and pushy, the food was equally unappealing. we were wondering why they werent busy...maybe we just missed the memo that the place is better off being skipped. the owner seemed to be more occupied on his cell phone laughing and carrying on than helping to be productive. our server was dry and like i was hinting at before, easily unlikable. my fajita was to say the least was AWESOME! but my girls chimichanga was sogged down with oil that then sogged down all of her rice and beans. it was a waste and obvoisly uneaten. we nicely asked our server for a new plate and she basically told us that that is just how the chimi's are. huh. and she charged us full price! too bad this place lost their best server lately, she was one of the few good things it had going for it. if you read this M, we miss you! even though pancho loco seems to have no qualms about talking trash, having bad servers and worse food, we still want to like it. just too we dont...

Great pearly whites!. Pancho Loco is a nice alternative to the abundance of chain restaurants popping up in the area. It's quite and warm for the most part, but on select days you'll find a wild crowd-just ask any of us regulars;) The drinks are outstanding.... from pina coladas, to margaritas, to the variety of tequila's straight up! The ambiance is one of a kind, and from what I've seen, the staff has some great pearly whites! Chicken tortilla soup is among one of my favorite indulgences, along with the BBQ ribs. Grrrummmbllee....gotta go, thats my stomach!
Great Food, Great Service, and a fun atmosphere!. I visit the people at Pancho Loco at least once a month, and every time I go there I am blown away by the wonderful service, short wait times, and superior food. I went tonight, and had some of their awesome "Dave's Wings," those things are GREAT. The perfect blend of sweet and spicy make them the best honey barbecue anywhere. Their ribs are to DIE for as well, but you have to make sure your leave some room for their awesome fried ice cream (yea it sounds scary, but don't knock it until you try it!) All in all a 5 out of 5 stars every time I go there!
Great Food and Prices. We visit quite often. Better than most mexican restaurants. Atmoshpere is wonderful. Great drinks. We love it!
Love the Atmosphere. My husband and I love mexican food and are thrilled that there is a cozy, comfortable place that we can visit close by! The food is good. The customer service could be a little better. The staff always seems a little overwhelmed even if it is not too busy. We have been back a few times and will continue to visit but it would be great if the service came with a smile!
Overpriced, average service, average food - bad combination!. I went there on a week night and although the place was almost empty the staff didn't even try to make us feel welcomed, service was slow and after a long wait we got very average not-real-mexican food that seemed to have come out of a box. When I saw the check I was even more suprised, it is really overpriced, and definetely not worth it!
Worst customer service!!. Our family use to dine here once a week atleast. They do have great fajitas. But when I encountered a hour wait for food and watched everyone who sat down after us eat and leave I decided to look for a manager. To no avail, although once I was ready to walk out (we never did get our food), I did meet one of the owners who's answer was simply, we are alittle busy. Good to know that you can't handle more than 7 tables on a Monday. Won't ever be back.
