Normandy Heights Blows. On the outside and speaking with the staff one would think that this is somewhat of an up-scale (New Britian) apartment building. Wait. Wait until you are trying to sleep and you can actually hear your neighbor roll over in bed. Wait until you hear every sound a human body can make. Wait until your upstairs neighbor walks and you hear every door close, floor crack and phone call they make. Wait until you have mold and the maintenance department paints over it. Wait until every time you walk in the building all you smell is curry. A horrible place and I only look forward to the day I walk out for the last time…
The worst apartments !.
You can't sleep at night if your neigbor who lives upstairs is awake ! you can hear every single step .. + you can hear your neigbors who live next to you (their phone calls, sounds from the
kitchen, when they shower or do something else!!) + the smell of cooking in the hallways is another story !!
+ the washers are called "washers" but they do not wash ! and their are no connections for your own washers and dryers!…

I hear the guy walking to the bathroom at 2, 3, and 4 am (probably a prostate thing). Then he wakes up for the day at 5 and keeps walking around. I thought it was just him being annoying. But
apparently I bother the guy who lives below me. He's personally complained to me 3 times. It has become such a problem when I see him in the hallway he wont look at me.
The hallways constantly smell like roasted garlic (after it has been thrown into wet garbage). The smell is so embarrassing that it is difficult to bring friends over. The smell leaks through the door,thus the smell welcomes guests into your apartment as they enter. Because of that, people assume it is you. The walls are so thin, I can hear my next door neighbors yelling at eachother. I know every detail of their marriage, and I want a divorce.
One day I came home, and the gentleman living upstairs left his water running. The water seeped through the floor, and ruined all of my belongings in the bathroom. The apartment now not only smelled of roasted wet garlic but now also carried the new scent of moldy left-over water. It took them a while to come correct the issue. When they finally came to paint the ceiling, they did a mickey-mouse type job. It was only after further harrassment did they decide to a somewhat better job.
Sometimes, I hear loud music which is next to impossible to locate to an exact apartment. Whenever the person plays their music, they do so with no regard to their neighbors. Although, I must admit that they have a quality sound system. It is so quality, that when there is any bass in the song, my whole apartment vibrates to the beat. If they decide to play their music on a thursday night, they feel that it is ok to keep doing so until 1 in the morning. One time the gentleman below me, believed that I was playing this music. He responded by adding to the misery by tapping on his ceiling (my floor) with a broom to the beat of annoying.…
