This is a well managed, professional group of drivers. The busses are always top notch, clean, well-maintained, and reliable. The drivers are friendly, experienced, and respectful of both the riders and other drivers on the road. Our group has ridden with this company for over 30 years without incident. We go to NYC twice yearly and no matter the construction, the trafffic, the closed roads, we always get to and from our destination on time safely. This is a reliable, excellent company.

Excellent Service for Years. I don't typically leave comments, but having seen the review below from "docphil," I feel a bit obligated to offer my experiences with the company as well.

Having grown up and attended school in the area, I have been on Constitution Coach's buses numerous times. Interestingly enough, despite their (likely) having left the buses idling during those occasions, I never developed asthma. Not even after those times when the bus was stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Anyway, in my (rather extensive) experience, the service provided by Constitution Coach has always been excellent--particularly in those areas that I believe most would primarily value when chartering a bus: they were always on time, the buses were always clean--and never once appeared "un-maintained." Drivers rarely conversed with us at all, but when they did, they were kind, well-cleaned, and professional, and drove in restrained manner.

Idling or not, I wouldn't charter a bus from any other operator. Take that for what it is.

Horrible Service - Bus idling when not loading students. Used Constitution services to shuttle students from school to a ski resort Ski Sundown.

First we had a problem when the 2 drivers let the buses idling for 45 minutes.

The school policy clearly states that no idling is permitted when loading/unloading students in order to keep young developing lungs away from harmful fumes.

Also CT state law has a 3-minute max rule for idling. Idling contributes to poor air quality and is a waste of fuel.

Second, when the drivers were notified, one of the driver became aggressive and started to yell and threaten to "trash" me. This were his exact terms. I had to call his manager to get the driver replaced.

This was last year. This year, idling is still going on by a dozen constitution coaches on ski sundown parking lot, even though it is not time for the students to be picked up.

They do not care about the children and adults breathing diesel exhaust and developing asthma or other pulmonary diseases. The manager was notified early 2011 and nothing has changed in 2012.

Bottom line, horrible service. Would not recommend. Stay away from this company.

Great Value. Clean Coach, Prompt Service, Knowledgeable Driver, Reasonable Price.

We have rented one coach a year for more than ten years.

Our experience was very good with Constitution Coach. The driver knew all the roads in Boston. The coach was clean and well maintained. Customer service was good.
