The Scene
Visions of Spireas dance in your head? The majority of the customers who shop at this earthy lot, which sports 19 greenhouses, are of the green-thumb persuasion. Most are actually looking to save money by doing their own landscaping work. And if you are just starting to dig in to horticulture, it makes sense to go where the experts shop.
The Goods
Staffers grow over 18,000 geraniums, 16,000 garden mums, about 12,000 poinsettias, 2,000 Easter lilies and thousands of herbs, perennials and vegetables. The prized gardens chosen over the years to be part of the Perennial Planters' Garden Club Tour were born here.
