Diminishing chain-But BEST FAST FOOD IN HARTFORD AREA. Friendly staff here. Service is very quick. The food is never greasy like many other fast food places. Burgers are thick and juicy and grilled to perfection-recommend the flamethrower. What is the point of waiting 20 minutes for a ho-hum burger at Ruby Tuesday's if you can come here and get a better burger instantly. The food actually tastes fresh too. Much more variety on regular menu than BK or McyD's. Ice cream tastes real, not fake like Friendly's. So much to choose from. Want to eat it all. Prices may be higher than average fast food, but you definitely get more for your money here. Dairy Queens seem to have been closing down over the past couple years but hopefully this one is to stay.

The Best D.Q. Around!. This D.Q. is absolutely the best around. I use to favor Carvel, had D.Q. at another location - couldn't even finish the ice cream cone. One day, my husband & I decided to try this location and have been hooked ever since. I would say that we go here for ice cream at least twice a week (all year round!) and have NEVER been disappointed. The ice cream and toppings are fresh and always tasty - the cones are never stale. My husband loves the brazier burgers and the fries are yummy , too. In the summer it is quite packed and the amazing thing is the atmosphere: it is like being transported back in time - nice, polite families out for ice cream and a good time. It's almost like being on vacation. They have a convenient drive through and plenty of parking. As if this wasn't enough - when you go in, you just might be greeted by the famous "D.Q. Dave" himself - the hardest working owner in ice cream business! He's a little serious, but he's VERY nice. Take it from me - you will be pleasantly surprised here.

The Best Fast Food. My whole family loves Dairy Queen and this is the best one! The chicken finger basket is good, comes with lots of fries, large pieces of chicken, a piece of Texas toast, and a drink... all for under $6. The the ice cream is awesome! They added a drive through this past summer.

Blizzards are the best. If you haven't had a DQ blizzard, you have to try one. Blizzards are the most decadent ice cream variations that you will ever have. It's almost like a milkshake, only thinker with pieces of your favorite candy sprinkled in. My favorite is the Reese's peanut butter cut blizzard. The blend of ice cream and peanut butter cups is fantastic. DQ's chicken sandwiches and fries are wonderful as well. It's too bad that they close on Halloween for the winter.
