Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Pasta grill and bar is ideal for parties and is considered central Conneticut's premiere night spot.
Closest thing to NYC pub. It was a relief finding this pub. Moving here from NYC a year ago and being a musician, I found it to be a hard transition. After all, NYC has the very best pubs. Murphy's is the closest thing I have found so far to a NYC pub. Great happy hour, and good bands. The pizza was not exactly New Yorkish but ok. The tap beer was fresh and served fairly quickly. There is nothing worst then having to wait for a slow bartender. Thy seemed to be kinda on the ball. My wife and myself will be going there more often.
good bar. All around good time but horrible morning after. The speakers are on way, way to loud. You can't hear anything when you are there and when you wake up the next morning all you can hear is a ringing noise.
Pool, bands and Pizza!. Murphy's has 4 pool tables, 14 TV's, live bands nightly, a full menu, and great pizza served untill closeing time for your late night munchies. The bartenders are the best around so you always get good service. A good crowd with a casual atmosphere. What more can you ask for.
