Dear Awilkenson. Please do not interfere with other people's opinions/reviews. You disgust me and make feel worse than the food at Andy's.
Wonderful food and staff, Unfortunate attitude of. I've been to this restaurant many times, and actually came online to see if they had a website so I could forward it to friends. The food is wonderful - the pizzas are great and some of the entrees have so much flavor its almost hard to chew....:) I'm actually going to try and use the restaurant to serve for a family event - a stretch for them I presume, as I'm not sure they do catering (I'll soon find out). The staff is always very pleasant in my experience; helpful when I need it, offer suggestions and certainly more than accommodating when needed. I find it unfortunate for the first reviewer, and more so for the third - a misprint is a misprint; your inability to accept that is your problem and I find it surprising that a staff member would come out angry and make a scene (perhaps some exaggeration?). I agree that the restaurant needed to do something for you - as they did for me when I brought the same coupon in, and have witnessed them do for others. I suggest this rule of thumb - always try a restaurant twice before making an opinion - everyone has a bad day from time to time and we can't lynch a someone for having a bad day. All in all - I really like this place, will continue going back and will highly recommend it to anyone...
In response to 2 reviews below. No place to comment on reviews, so I'm writing here in response to the second review blasting Keleon who wrote how she was treated and what they experienced. No need for comments such as "maybe she was tired of putting up with cheap people like you". Restaurants put out coupons to attract new customers and rarely is it the cost of the dinner that is upsetting when they refuse to honor it. It would have been better for business if the manager did handle this properly. After reading both reviews, I'm trusting the original unbiased opinion and not giving this restaurant my business.
its great!. Dear Keleon01, i have been a loyal customer of andy's for ten years and have never expierenced "the worst customer service". everytime i have been in there the wait staff has been polite and made us feel right at home. the manager you are talking about is a sweet lady and does not deserve to be called awlful. maybe she was tired of putting up with cheap people like you. im sorry you cant afford a night out at an inexpensive restaurant:( but to everyone else who is thinking about going to andy's i highly reccomend it! they have delicous dishes, GREAT customer service, and a tradditional "italian home" feeling. you will leave there feeling full and happy:)
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
My boyfriend and I went out here for the first time last night because we had received a coupon in the mail for 50% off dinner- a great deal! Everything was fine at first- food, service, etc. However, when we were given the bill and handed in our coupon we were told by our server that it was a misprint and they couldn't honor it for a number of reasons:
- what we had ordered wasn't what they considered a "dinner"
- it was a misprint
First of all, the coupon did not specify what was considered a "dinner", nor did their menu. Secondly, a misprint is not the customer's fault and nowhere on the coupon did it state "not responsible for misprints". I asked politely to speak with the manager who came over to our table in the middle of the dining room and began right away arguing loudly with me infront of all other customers. She stated that she gets someone with this coupon at least once a day and yet, there was no sign as you entered the restaurant stating this coupon was a misprint and they wouldn't accept it, nor did our waitress asked if we had this coupon at the beginning of our visit- simple common sense. After the MANAGER of the place made a huge scene in the dining room, we had other customers approach us and apologize and say how they should have honored the coupon. Even if it may save this awful woman some money now, she will NEVER get our business again and she didn't seem even phased when I told her this. This is not a restaurant commited to obtaining long term customers and developing repoire with them, but a place where they are simply concerned about short term results. I hope this review will help others avoid the horrendous experience my boyfriend and I had last night.
