Honesty, integrity, quality!. Driving by, I wasn't sure if this place was a pawn shop (it is not). It's not much to look at outside, but when you go inside... WOW!!! This jewelry store is everything I hoped for and more. Ray, the owner, really impressed me. He is probably as honest as you can get these days. I looked at a ring that cost $16K (way out of my price range). He explained that the diamonds in the ring were certified and such... the diamonds had papers... and then told me to state what I wanted to pay and he could make the ring for that price. He delivered on his promise! My ring for much less looks nearly identical to the $16K ring. At no time was I pressured in any way. Ray does not pressure people. I really got the feeling that he was honest. He also made sure that my ring was just perfect, fixing something in the setting before letting me pick it up (even though this caused a slight delay, it's the attention to detail that matters). I am extremely pleased with my experience at this store. I think the customer service, honesty, integrity, and quality/value for the ring I purchased are unmatched. This is a case of old-fashioned customer service, which sadly is lacking in today's society. I will be a customer for life!

Excellent Service!!!. My fiance bought my ring from Gold & Diamond Exchange. When he started looking he went to stores all over New England because he knew I wanted an unusually shaped stone set in yellow gold that was certified and of good quality. Other jewelry stores he went to either tried to talk him into buying something else or laughed at him for trying to get what I wanted. Gold & Diamond Exchange ordered 3 stones for him to choose from. My ring is much better than I had hoped for! The store is over an hour drive from our home, but well worth it. The staff is excellent and helpful. I look forward to buying our wedding bands there!

Excellent price and quality. We have purchased several pieces of jewelery at Gold & Diamond exchange, my engagement ring, wedding band, my husband's wedding band, and a diamond journey necklace. We were thrilled with the price of each piece. The quality is outstanding as well. They are the only place we go and we live across the state!

Best quality jewelry at the best prices anywhere!!!. I have been a customer at Gold and Diamond for over 20 years! I grew up in Vernon and no matter where I move- I ALWAYS make the trip back to Ellington because it is so worth it! I can trust Ray and his staff to treat me well- whether I am buying a small item or a higher priced one- they are the best. And you can be assured you will get the best price and quality. I never have to wonder or worry! I have even brought in 2 friends who bought their now wives their engagement rings and wedding bands from there and were so pleased and could not believe the prices compared to what they had been looking at at! Quality, great customer service and fair prices- you can fine all of this at The Gold and Diamond Exchange! And you can avoid the insanity of the mall!! Once you go- you will keep going back! I am very far East in the state in Griswold now- but I will go back and see Ray and his staff for anything I need. It's worth the trip! Don't let the little store on the outside fool you as to what is inside!!!! You'll be glad you went!
