Great shopping experience. I went to Stars and had a wonderful shoppping experience. The salesperson was great, I really enjoyed working with her. She helped me choose different gowns, and took her time with me. I'm looking for a gown for my son's wedding and Stars was the first place I looked.

My experience with Stars was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you so much for moving Heaven and Earth to get me a wedding gown that I loved. I called Stars just 10 days before my July 4th wedding after I was let down by another dress shop who had ordered the wrong size dress for me and then did nothing to solve the problem. As soon as I called and spoke to Hope, I knew everything would be o.k. She checked with JoAnne and then called me back and told me to come in right away. That afternoon, I found myself at Stars looking at 4 gorgeous gowns that JoAnne had selected for me. They were all beautiful, but as soon as I tried on the very first one, I knew it was meant to be! The dress was perfect for me, but would need alterations, and we had just 10 days until the wedding. Plus, I had not yet seen the price tag on the gown. I was too afraid to ask, but when JoAnne told me the price I could not believe my ears – the dress was in mu budget, and I would also be able to purchase a veil to go with the gown.

Hope and JoAnne were absolutely wonderful, but now the dress had to be altered, I wanted a halter strap created, and we had just 10 days. I can’t say enough about the work that Mina did for me on this dress. She created a custom halter strap to match the dress and altered it in all the right places – and she did it on time, as promised. She is a miracle worker, in my book.

My experience with Stars was fantastic from start to finish. Many other dress shops (and businesses in general) could learn a lot from the way that the staff at Stars treats customers. I highly recommend Stars to anyone looking for formal wear. The selection, customer service, price, and alterations are top notch.

We loved Nina who was the seamstress. We got my mom's and all my bridesmaid dresses at this location and we loved Nina who was the seamstress.... She was very overwelmed and I picked my dress up a day before the wedding... But LOVED them.. I have gotten all my dresses for every occation There....

Also you get a discount on Bridesmaids if you get yours there :)

Good service. A little put off when we showed up unexpectadly....(answering machine message was lost/misplaced)....also a bit frosty to the prospect of groom and bride shopping together.

But on the other hand...good service, flat fee alterations with three scheduled fitting sessions and a fourth thrown in free of additional charge, great merchandise, excellent, phenomenally talented, detail oriented seamstress.

Very happy bride!!. I'm happy with Stars! They are wonderful and friendly, and their seamstress is very sweet and talented.

I bought a dress for a ""destination wedding"" instead of a sample or ordering one, because I figured it would be cheaper. The alterations do not cost a fortune, and I was very satisfied with my gown! It's very different, and the customer service beat the pants off of David's Bridal.

Wonderful experience. If you've read the other reviews on this page and are considering not checking this store out, STOP! I had set up an appointment with them, and after reading the reviews, almost cancelled it. I'm so glad I didn't - I had a great experience at Stars. The staff was excellent - this was the only place I went to where the consultant actually sat down with me to find out what kind of wedding I was having (formal/informal, day/night), what the groom was wearing (khakis & blazer/suit/tux) and some other questions just to get a feel for what kind of dress I may be looking for. Then, she went and picked out a number of dresses, got me a pair of shoes (another first), and then proceeded to help me in and out of every single one of the dresses - plus, she got more dresses based on what I said I did and did not like. They let me try on headpieces, veils, even jewelry. It was also nice that the seamstress was on-sight and available to ask certain questions - also something I hadn't experienced at other stores. I found a few dresses that I really loved and they were more than agreeable to me coming back a second time with my sister so I could see them again and compare them to another dress I was considering from another store.

When I went back for my second look, the staff was just as wonderful - I tried on all three dresses that I had liked the first time, and then made my decision to buy one of them - they let me stay in the dress for about 1/2 hour while my father came from his house to see it (and pay, of course). They didn't rush me at all - it was a wonderful experience!

Also, my sisters looked at a number of dresses in the bridesmaid lines - the staff was very encouraging to them, finding more and more dresses for them to try on - I think they tried on about 15 dresses before the day was done.

I would highly recommend anyone going to Stars - I found the staff to be very personable and the experience to be a very personal one - I even called them a few weeks after I ordered the dress, and they knew right away who I was (I didn't even give them my last name) and what dress I ordered.

I am not sure what was going on those other days described below, but I think those must of just been some off days.

Everyone was extremely helpful. I had terrific customer service, my wedding gown was top of the line, the fittings were efficient, and they were able to assist in the restoration of an antique headpiece. The veil and headpiece turned out better than the original! I booked an appointment to peruse through their dresses, which I believe is standard procedure at quality dress shops. Everyone was extremely helpful in narrowing down my options.

wonderful experience. I had a wonderful experience at Stars. I had a very friendly and helpful consultant. She really helped me find what looked great on me. I have many favorite gowns from this store. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help. Wonderful wedding gown shopping experience!
