Our family usually goes once a month for thier brunch. it's well worth the money. extremely kid friendly...we have a 18 month old and a 5 year old. with reservations i don't seem to have to wait more then 5 or 10 minutes. When we've had to wait the employees were very helpful. My son was looking at the lobsters and an employee pulled it out for him to get a better look. As far as the food goes for bruch you can't get better. More then just the normal eggs and waffles. An entire table of fruit and fish are to enjoy as is a large selection of fresh made desserts. Haven't been there for dinner in a while...about 2 years but i've been there for lunch and have been satisfied every time. It's a very kid and wallet friendly place. Lunch usually costs the same as a nice meal at TGI Fridays but with better food. Would definetly recommend it as a great place for brunch.

Pros: kid friendly and yet appealing to parents

Cons: on the pricer side but still better then most chain restaurants

I've glanced through some of these previous reviews, and I simply must disagree. Perhaps Dakota's has changed a lot in the past few years because I've gone at least 4 times in the past year or so (including for my graduation party, a birthday dinner, and Valentine's Day dinner), and I've always had a delicious meal, fabulous service, and never had to wait for a table. By the way, I didn't always make a reservation either. I do agree that there is a lack in variety as far as sides go, and I'm not ecstatic about the salad bar, but who cares? You go to Dakota's for STEAK. :o) The last time I went to Dakota's, I had the filet mignon with crab on top. Delicious -- I daydream about it from time to time. No joke. Also, one time, I got a filet with shrimp, and I dropped a few of the shrimp still on the skewer on the floor -- my waitress promptly brought me a whole new skewer! Also, they're always willing to bring you something else, or re-cook your steak if you're not satisfied. I really enjoy Dakota's, and it's probably one of the more affordable steakhouses around. Don't let these other reviews deter you -- head out to Dakota's.

Pros: Yummy steaks, great service, plenty of parking

Cons: I don't have any for this place!
