Part sports bar, part meeting place, this Civic Center-adjacent bar is always packed tight with fans replaying the sporting event or concert-goers reliving the set list.. The Scene:
After any event at the Hartford Civic Center, from hockey to UCONN basketball to a rock concert, Conrad's is the after event place to be. But Conrad's isn't just for after Civic Center happenings; because it's located within the Hilton, there is always a crowd of Hartford business types jamming Conrad's during lunch and Happy Hour. From its second floor vantage point, the room offers dinners a look out on busy Trumbull Street. Every Wednesday and Thursday the bar offers live music, and Friday is college night, attracting hungry dorm kids with the lure of non-dorm food at 20% off.
